Arrived this morning to find Dar not feeling real good. She started running a fevor yesterday so as a precaution the doctor started her on a round of antibiotics. Took some cultures and some other samples for testing.Took a chest x-ray this afternoon, came back good.

By early this afternoon her color returned as well as her personality.Dar has been up to her "showmansip standard" all afternoon. She is happy and being very helpfull for all of her therepists

Sad to report that her new "trach" has not arrived as yet. Sad because Dar is sooo ready to start talking. She is ready to say "I love you","hi" "bye bye", and more.

Dr.Doherty has seen Dar once this morning and I am hopefull that she will see her once more before I leave tonight.

Lastly,I am waiting to see the Director of R/T to go over Dars Bipap machine. Maybe get some news about the "trach".

As always friends I know I could not keep this pace without your prayers and support for Dar. Thank you will never be enough as I have said before, but for now know that we love you all and Dar and I look forward to the day that we both can thank each and every one of you personaly.

On the lighter side, one of Dar's therapists told me today that Dar is going to kick my butt for all the things that I do to get her to respond. I told Dar she could kick all she wants. Dar laughed and laughed.

Thank you everyone we love you all.

It's amazing how much transpires between postings. I know she has been laughing for some time now, but I really get it when you wrote how she laughed when she was told she could kick all she wants.
